On July 29, 2024, a stabbing attack in Southport, a town on England's northwest coast, resulted in the deaths of two children and injuries to nine others. The incident occurred at a Taylor Swift-themed dance and yoga class for primary school children. The attack took place shortly before noon, with a 17-year-old boy being arrested in connection with the incident. Details of the Incident Emergency services were alerted to the scene on Hart Street at 11:47 AM local time.
